There’s a problem in hotels which use RFID key cards. If you want to go out to buy something or get something to eat and … you have to take the key card from power slot, and after a minute power will go off. What do you supposed to do If you want to charge some batteries when you leave the room? We (me and my dear husband) tried three ways in some cases and all work :
1-Tell the trues to staff that you need to charge some batteries in your own room when you leave the room.
2-Ask front desk staff to give you another key card, cause you’ve lost it. Then leave one card in the power slot and keep another for locking, opening and etc.
3- Leave/Insert telephone card in the power slot. Both cards have RFID chip.
Easy peasy 🙂
